The PEN's signature paper is now online!

As no systematic research on health policy implementation and impact, with a focus on relevant public policy interventions to directly or indirectly tackle physical inactivity, unhealthy diets and sedentary behaviours currently exist across Europe, PEN will address this need.

In 2019 and 2020, researchers at OsloMet will implement the Food Environment Policy Index (Food-EPI) in Norway as part of the ongoing European Policy Evaluation Network (PEN) initiative funded by the Joint Programming Initiative "A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life" (JPI HDHL) with contributions from the Research Council.

The kick-off meeting of the Policy Evaluation Network took place from 4th to 6th February 2019 at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS in Bremen, Germany, with the participation of representatives of the involved institutes, collaborators from related European projects and external experts supporting this multi-disciplinary network.
